Sobre este artículo

London, England: John Russell Smith, 1854. Second Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Covers "the antiquity of heraldic ensigns & symbols, their nature, origin, & use; their connections with the establishment of heraldry as a science in Great Britain through the mid 19th century. Orig. published in 1847 (with original Preface to that edition included), this is the Second Edition from 1854, with a new Preface that defends the necessity of offering such an edition."no apology is necessary." In 190 pages with 23 illustrated plates throughout, Index & Errata in rear. Hardcover book with tan cloth-over-boards & gilt lettering to spine is in Good condition: extremely clean, binding straight & strong, NO writing/underlining/highlighting; NOT ex-lib. Front hinge was repaired long ago with cloth tape; quite unobtrusive. Worst flaw is foxing, heavy at times, throughout book. Corners mildly bumped, very slight edgewear. Gilt on spine is bright & crisp. Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping if ordered by 2 pm weekdays (PST); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next day.
