Sobre este artículo
Very well preserved full leather binding of this edition with gilt motif to front board in Latin of the Glasgow Academy. Gilt titles to spine with five raised bands. Very minor rubbing only to leather and overall externally in near fine condition. Marbled edges to text block and marbled end papers. School Prize label to front paste down dated 1877. Some foxing heavy in places (see photo of Mont Blanc) but the vast majority of the engravings remain unaffected. Overall an extremely good attractive edition of this work. Illustrated with forty engavings. Nouvelle edition. Text in French
