The Grapes of Wrath. N.Y.: Viking, (1939). First Edition. 8vo, original pictorial tan cloth stamped in brown, pictorial endpapers with sheet music endpapers for "Battle Hymn of the Republic". Spine and joints slightly darkened, covers firm and rather clean with few finger smudges, text solid and still bright, hint only of binding adhesive stains at hinges, early ink ownership and blank bookplate at front free endpaper.
