[1938 ENGINEERING HYDRAULICS MANUSCRIPT; WATERWAYS, ENVIRONMENT, HURRICANE CONTROL; RARE] GRAPHICAL METHOD OF ANALYZING COMPOUND FLOOD HYDROGRAPHS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING UNIT HYDROGRAPHS, by C. T. McCarthy, Hydraulic Engineer, published by U. S. Engineer Office, Providence, R. I., March 1938, typescript manuscript/teletype copy, 8-1/2" x 11", bound in stiff tan manila covers, about 25 pages of text including a few full-pages of typescript charts, 8 hand-drawn graphs interspersed in the last few text/typescript pages, 4 fold-out and 1 single-page photocopies of graphs bound in in different parts, handwritten along top of manila front cover "F. Barraud, Supervisor, Town of Brookhaven, Long Island, NY; Frank L. Panuzio graduated from Cornell in the 1930s, did engineering work for the Army during World War II, and after the War worked on Corps of Engineer and government coastline and river projects in the New York City area and elsewhere dealing with erosion and environmental concerns and preventing or limiting damage from hurricanes; no information found on C.
