NP: NP.. Fine with no dust jacket. 1939. Script. The distinguished screenwriter & director's personal copy of his play SCRIPT. Fine in maroon leather binding, with titles stamped in gold. The original playbill from the Surry Theatre production dated August 22 through August 26, 1939 is tipped-in. This was Pirosh's first produced play after having made a name for himself writing a film script for the Marx Bros. The play was directed by Samuel Rosen and starred Ann Revere, Shepperd Strudwick & Joseph Wiseman. Included with the script are two 8X10 stills of Pirosh engaged in film activities & a 4" X 5" snapshot of him leaping to click his heels taken circa 1940.; 8 1/2" X 10 1/2" .
