A Near-Fine First Printing, First Edition by Random House, 1951. It is clearly signed by the author, "FOR DAN - TRUMAN CAPOTE" on the front second leaf.
Boards, spine, and edges are pristine; corners are unbumped. Book is clean and straight with a solid binding. The title on the spine is clean and bright.
DJ is clean with slight wear on the upper corners, and a 2" tear on the rear DJ spine with a small loss to upper reear spine are and smsll loss to bottom spine edge.
An excellent inscribed copy of this classic book.
Sinopsis
The Grass Harp is a novel by Truman Capote published in 1951 that tells the story of an orphaned boy and two elderly ladies who observe life from a tree. They eventually leave their temporary retreat to make amends with each other and other members of society.
