Black cloth lettered with spine lettered in silver. Previous owner's neat ink inscription on inner cover, else a very fine copy with picotrial dust jacket. The author presents three essays on what he has learned, about both history and the gathering of it, in his two decades of research into Texas feuds. Essays include, "Blood on the Typewriter," "The Pattern of Texas Fueds," and "The Grave of John Wesley Hardin.".

The Argonaut Book Shop was founded in 1941 in the middle of the financial district of San Francisco. The Argonaut was a founding member of the Antiquarian Booksellers\' Association of America and has been a member in good standing ever since. The Shop is now located just three blocks from Union Square in downtown San Francisco and is open six days a week. Parking facilities include ample street space and a parking garage close by.
