Sobre este artículo
Memphis: Southern Baptist Publication Society, 1976. Third printing. Hardcover. Very good-. Small quarto, 1184pp. Stated "third thousand." A restored copy, bound in the publisher's green cloth and rebacked with original spine laid down, new endpapers to the front, and the inner hinges strengthened. A sound, firmly bound example; about very good. Very uncommon massive record of a debate between these two preachers. Graves represented the Baptist side, and Ditzler the Methodist side. Though at the time Methodism was not so popular in the American South, Ditzler was apparently a highly engaged supporter of the Confederacy dring the Civil War, taking his evangelism for both God and country (the CSA) abroad during that period (per his obituary). Any 19th century printing of this epic tome is scarce in commerce; we cannot find any auction listings in the past fifty years, nor any in commerce as of this listing. OCLC holdings are generally restricted to regional religious institutions.

Sobre Cleveland Book Company
We are proud members of the ABAA.
As a small, independent bookseller in Cleveland, Ohio, I deal in general used, rare, and antiquarian books, autographs, manuscripts, pamphlets, and personal and family papers in all subjects. My family has been in the antiquarian book business since 1971. Are you moving, downsizing, or doing some spring cleaning? Did you inherit or otherwise come into some old books? Or, maybe you've collected modern novels from the last thirty or fifty years. No matter what kinds of books you have, we'd love to take a look at them! We travel throughout Ohio, western Pennsylvania and New York, southern Michigan, and eastern Indiana, and will travel farther in some cases to look at whole libraries or even just a few particularly interesting books. Give us a call at (216) 352-3940 and we can talk more about the kinds of books you have.
