Please use this only as a guide as, with all printed material, errors may occur. Names were copied as the enumerator wrote them, even when obviously misspelled. Many enumerators relied on phonetic sounds and some names may differ in spelling each year. Researchers, following a particular family through these records, should consider all variations on the name." The compiler has done a great service in publishing four censuses and three tax lists together. If you had ancestors in Grayson County, this could be a significant source of information. .
