The book covers the films from 1927's Napoleon to 1980's Mon Oncle d'Amerique. Each film includes casts, production notes, stills, synopsis, and critical reactions. There is also an appendix of 50 additional films that did not make it into the main part of the book, but easily could have been included in the top 50. Illustrated with 100's of well printed stills and photos. Laid in the book are 10 nice postcards for French films. Fine/fine.
