This is number 412 of limited signed edition of this colossal work-an account of the distribution, habits, and natural history of the sporting mammals with personal hunting experiences, 25 separate contributors, 15 hand-coloured plates and numerous photogravure illustrations. it is bound in green cloth with gilt lettering. the spine is a bit worn top and bottom and the shoulders are worn with small loss and the first few pages are detached. Binding is cocked.The rear hinge is completely detached. There are tears and small loss to contents page. Other page edges are slightly torn. Endpapers are worn and stained and the rear has loss. This book is extremely heavy, please enquire about postage the rest of the interior is in good condition however and is clean and unmarked.; 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall; Signed by Author Fair 1899
