Sobre este artículo

New York & Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1996 WYSIWYG pricing--no added shipping charge for standard shipping within USA. Full dark green cloth, gilt titles on spine, xvi, 536 pp, maps, many charts, notes, bibliography, index. DJ in Brodart archival cover. Fischer presents an enormous amount of data on prices since about 1200, which show four great waves of price inflation (we have been in the fourth since 1896) punctuated by periods of price stability. These are correlated in detail to various social phenomena--for example, during the Victorian price equilibrium, per capita alcohol consumption in the United States declined shortly after 1830 from about 7 gallons annually to about 2 gallons, where it remaind for the rest of the 19th century. Shipping weight 3 lbs.. First Edition. . Fine/Fine. 24 X 16 cm.
