Thomas Nelson. Nashville. 1991. Heirloom Limited Edition boxed set (number 1820 of 6000). Books quarter-bound in burgundy with gray cloth embedded with gold highlights. Title on front board, spine and all edges are gilt. Each book contains a Signed and numbered bookplate from the author. Also included is the COA that accompanies the limited edition. The burgundy faux leather box shows minor shelf wear. Books are very tight, seemingly only opened to take the photographs seen on this listing.
Augustine "Og" Mandino (1923 - 1996) is best known for his book "The Greatest Salesman in the World" (1968) but in total his books have sold over 50 million copies and been translated into over 25 languages. He was a bombardier in a B-24 during WW II and flew with fellow pilot and movie star James Stewart. After the war he went to work for Clement Stone, author of "Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude". He advanced through the Stone organization to eventually become the Executive Editor of the magazine "Success Unlimited". Over time he released a series of books ending with "The Greatest Mystery in the World." 5.5 x 8.5.
