Original light grey-brown cloth with gilt titles to spine and front, and brown printed decorative borders to spine and front; gilt top page edges; no dustjacket (perhaps as issued). xvi, 134pp. With 54 illustrations in plates (largely b&w photos) and as text figures. With John Murray compliments slip loosely inserted. No ownership inscriptions. Very Good copy. A generally nice copy with a few minor spots to covers, the pages have intermittent blotchy browning (foxing). Pictures available.
