Sobre este artículo

Glasguae [Glasgow]: In aedibus academicis excudebat R. Foulis, , 1744. 8vo. pp. [iv], 128, 214, [xxiv]. Text in Greek, with Latin translation following.Contemporary French red morocco, gilt-ruled with floral device to spine, all edges gilt; letterpress book label to pastedown, ‘De la bibliotheque de Me. Esbran, Avocat au Parlement de Normandie, 1784’. Foulis issued two versions of the Meditations of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius in the same year; both follow Richard Ibbetson’s edition, but they were formatted differently. Our example is in two parts: the original Greek text followed by a Latin translation; the other version is a single volume in parallel text (Greek text with Latin translation on the facing page). Ibbetson's edition was first published in Oxford in 1704; he was Archdeacon of Exeter at the time of his death in 1731. Gaskell, Foulis, 44; ESTC T149289 Book
