Boston: Patrick Donohue, 1849. Second edition, second US edition. hardcover in green cloth. Very good. Larger duodecimo (smaller than standard). Soem wear to edges and corners of boards. Corners, head and heel of spine bumped. Green cloth with bright gilt to spine. Very little foxing at all. 375 p. Political writings and various poems, some patriotic. O'Callaghan (1805 - 1883) was an Irish historian and writer from Dublin, and clearly a patriot as well.
