Small pleasant book-plate on front pastedown. This English edition of the Hudson novel is illustrated by Keith Henderson. There are ten double-page images, two single-page, and 22 chapter heads. First edition was published in 1904. 325pp. William Henry Hudson (1841-1922) was an English author, naturalist, and ornithologist. This novel is an exotic romance about a traveller to the Guyana jungle in SE Venezuela and his encounter with a forest dwelling girl named Rima.
