Sobre este artículo
London: Michael Joseph , 1981. Paperback. Near Fine. 8.5" by 5.5". None . A very scarce and lovely uncorrected proof of John Masters' novel 'By the green of the Spring.' John Matsers' novel evolving around the events of the Great War, reliving the last terrible months, and the uneasy and exhausted peace that followed it. Masters follows the fortunes of four Kent families through the cataclysm that ended the golden Edwardian dream for ever. The third volume in the trilogy of the 'Loss of Eden,' it remains self-contained and, all together, they form an enthralling and magnificent epic on war and peace. This is a very scarce uncorrected proof of the first edition of 1981. In the original publisher's wraps. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally excellent with minor shelf wear only. With an inscription in ink to the front wrap "19 Oct £7.95". Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
