From the library of nationally renowned collector of rare books and manuscripts Dr. Otto Orren Fisher, with his bookplate to the verso of the front endpaper, with an inscription from the author, "For Dr. Otto O Fisher on learning from his daughter that he might be interested in the story of Greenland as it looks to Vilhjalmur Stefansson, December 16, 1946.
