Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed spine ends; black stain mid way. Some stains to front board. Corners rubbed. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A good introduction to Gregg shorthand, invented by John Robert Gregg in the late 19th century and the only real competitor to Pitman's shorthand still in common use.
