If I tell you that the title, Grouse Points, like George King's title That's Ruff!, has a dual meaning, you may begin to think this is not just another new grouse book. And you would be right. Except for GBE when referring to his own Purdey being fitted for him by Glenn Baker, I cannot recall any other grouse author bringing up the concept of having your gun fitted to your body and shooting style.When I had my first shotguns fitted to me by Alford Galllifant my shooting improved considerably. Listen to Ken when he says," Get Thee to a Gunfitter" in Chapter 13. His writing is similar to Jack O'Connor's in that it flows easily almost as if he were there talking with you. I pulled one gem out to share with you. there are many more, but you will have to have the book in your hand to discover them for yourself. I can help there too. I have SIGNED copies waiting for you.
