Seattle: The Mountaineers, 1965. First Edition . Original Wraps. Good/No Jacket Issued. 1965 FIRST EDITION. Original orange stiff paper wrappers with black lettering, staple-bound. Some smudges on covers, sunning spine area, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, , no foxing, solid binding. This guide comes in two states, the present one and one where there is a route topo decoration printed in black on the front cover and printer info on the copyright page. They appear to have exactly the same contents and pagination (but I have not attempted to check the complete text in a side-by-side comparison....spot checking indicates the text is the same). It is unclear which is first. Both are equally uncommon, this being one of the scarcer Fred Beckey books. The book measures 204mm tall x 130mm and has 86 pages, a few route diagrams & maps. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
