Quarto, sky blue cloth illustrated in red and yellow with red and yellow spine titles. 191 pp. plus acknowledgments. The teacher's guidebook with additional material, plus the whole of the Our New Friends text illustrated in brilliant primary colors by Keith Ward. The 192 pages of the teacher's section ends with a bibliography for the excerpted stories. This is a brilliant copy. The Colors laid down for the cover decoration of a boy and girl walking in the rain under an umbrella are bright and completely undiminished as are the spine titles. The book is very tight, square, clean, unmarked and unblemished, with brght white exterior edges (excepting the barest hint of dust on the top edge). Every illustration is fresh as the day it was printed. A collector's copy. Flawless and virtually AS NEW. Very scarce in such beautiful condition..
