Sobre este artículo

Chancellor Press, UK, 1985. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Dust Jacket. Hardcover. *** PUBLISHING DETAILS: Chancellor Press, UK, 1985. *** CONDITION: This book is in near fine condition but dust jacket is not included. *** ABOUT THIS BOOK: Lemuel Gulliver finds himself washed up on the strange island of Lilliput, a land inhabited by quarrelsome miniature people. On his travels he continues to meet others who force him to reflect on human behaviour - the giants of Brobdingnag, the Houyhnhnms and the Yahoos. In this scathing satire on the politics and morals of the 18th Century, Swift's condemnation of society and its institutions still resonates today. *** Quantity Available: 1. Sinopsis

Gulliver's Travels (1726, amended 1735), officially Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World, in Four Parts. By Lemuel Gulliver, First a Surgeon, and then a Captain of several Ships, is a novel by Irish writer and clergyman Jonathan Swift that is both a satire on human nature and a parody of the "travellers' tales" literary sub-genre. It is Swift's best known full-length work, and a classic of English literature. The book became tremendously popular as soon as it was published.
