Sobre este artículo
London: J. M. Dent, 1903. Hardcover. Good. Arthur Rackham. Small 8vo, blue cloth boards with gilt titles on spine, embossed vignette on front. Upper edge gilt. Xiv + 363pp. Corners a little bumped and some edge wear to spine, slightly cocked. Illustrated by Arthur Rackham with a beautiful coloured title page and frontis, 11 other black and white illustrations. Some pages are roughly cut. Contemporary and rather nice child’s book plate at front and rear. Part of the Temple Classics for Young People series. Swift’s classic work is a satirical look at human nature and stories told by travellers of the time. Although he claimed that this tale was designed to vex rather then divert, it is still eminently readable and humorous
