Signed By The Poet William Drummond On The Ffep And Inscribed To Louis Mann Dated 1899. There Is No Indication But I Am Assuming That The Louis Mann In Question Is The Actor/Director Of The Same Era Since They Moved In The Same Artistic Circles. The Pages Are Rough Cut And Clean Apart From 56/57 Where Something Has Been Laid In And Has Foxing In The Gutter, 1" Either Side. The Illustrator Is Frederick Simpson Coburn Each Plate Is Tissue Protected The Binding Is Visible At The Ffep Where The Gutter Is Cracked But The Boards Are Still Holding Well. The Book Is In French And English. Green Cloth Covered Boards With Bright Gilt Title An Illustration Of The Habitant On The Front Board. Bumping To Head And Tail Of Spine And Shelfwear Rubbing And Knocking To Boaards And Free Corners. Top Text Block Is Gilded. A Delightfully Illustrated Book Dated And Signed. A Heavy Book, May Require Extra Shipping.
