Other than the ownership marking, all pages are unmarked. The first and last endpapers are of a different paper stock that the rest of the book and those two sheet are tanned along with the final page of the book. All interior pages are bright and clear. Illustrated throughout with b&w sketches plus four pages that are color plates with two specimons on each page. Front hinge is cracked The binding is brown with decoration on the front and a full-color picture of two parrots. Wear on bcorners and edges of cover.
