Unknown: M. L. Jackson, 1912. Original postcard from the "Hallowe'en Don'ts" series produced by M. L. Jackson. As the the postcard says: "Don't be afraid for on Hallowe'en if you take a lighted candle and a mirror clean at the stroke of twelve, look in and there's seen the face of your lover that I ween." The postcard is embossed and has the publisher's lion's head logo. Postmarked on Hallowe'en, October 31, 1912 in Iowa; the name of the city begins with "H" but the remainder is obscured. The card is clean and bright and in very good condition.. First Edition. Paper. Collectible-Very Good. Illus. by M. L. Jackson. 5 3/8" X 3 1/2". Manuscript.
