Mobile: Mobile Register Print, 1878. 1st ed. 8vo. xxxix, [1],338 pp., folding map. Later 3/4 morocco with marbled paper over board. A very sharp copy with little wear. Previous owner name and early stain to the title page, else clean and in near fine condition. Macrou, Mapoteca Geologica Americana 602. Owen p. 818. Eugene A. Smith's "Geological Map of Alabama" has been professionally conserved and discreetly backed in Japanese paper so it is quite strong. Uncommon geological work.
