Waterford, N.Y./Troy, N.Y.: Button Fire Engine Company/ E. Green, 1885/1971. This catalogue comes from the collection of physician Thomas S. Walsh, who conducted research in the area. Typed at the top of the title page of another copy of the same reprinted catalogue is the following information: "REPRINT in 1971 OFEC Box # 116 Pelham NY 10803 Catalogue 1885." The catalogue itself contains no date. Original red wrappers. 24 pp. The catalogue contains pictures and catalogue information for 5 Crane Neck Hand Fire Engines, pictures and catalogue information for Hose Carriages, pictures of 2 Hose Carts and catalogue information for 3, pictures and catalogue information for Hose Couplings, and names, locations, and distance records for 44 hand fire engines made by the company in the past. The company boasts that it has taken all but two or three of the first prizes at Firemen's musters or tournaments in the last 30 years. Very Good.
