Hardcover has dark green cloth-covered boards with gold spine and cover lettering and decorations as well as blind-stamped borders and corner devices. Dark green coated endpapers. All page edges are red. Black and white photographs and illustrations. High-quality glossy paper. Index ribbon present but detached. Both hinges cracked inside of endpapers, some webbing showing, not broken. Half-inch tear in cloth at head of spine. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Covers have light surface and edge wear otherwise. One page has a correction in ink. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. 632 pages. No dust jacket. Series: Wissenschaftliche handbiliothek. Dritte Reihe. Lehrbucher verschiedener Wissenschaften V. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
