Binding a bit rubbed, contents very good. - Rare first edition of a classic handbook of the subject, one of the main works by a founder of modern climatology. It went though four editions (considerably extended each time), the last appeared in 1932. Cf. Dict. Sci. Biogr. IV, p. 99.
