Sobre este artículo
Victoria College,
TORONTO 5, Canada,
April 2nd, 1937.
This is to state that I knew Mr. Munro Beattie throughout the four years of his undergraduate career at Victoria University. I knew him as a student in the classroom, as a member of a small group pursuing intensive literary investigations, and as a writer contributing articles of a creative and critical nature to the University periodicals. It is a pleasure for me to repeat here what I have frequently stated elsewhere that he is one of the most gifted writers I have met in many years. I have every confidence in him because, in addition to his literary qualifications, he has an energy and a sincerity which will make for accomplishment in the years ahead. Moreover, during his undergraduate course he enjoyed the respect and affection of both students and staff.
(Sgd) E. J. Pratt,
