Oversize (8.5" x 12") hardcover has wood veneer-covered boards and terra-cotta red cloth spine. Spine has gold lettering. Front cover has City of Hannover coat-of-arms in red. Head of spine lightly bumped. Fore edge of front cover is dented. Tail of spine is damaged. Cloth is frayed with some loss of material. Bottom of front cover near spine has several dents and some of the wood veneer is missing, exposing the cardboard below. Damage to bottom corner does not affect pages. Veneer is peeling a bit along edge of cloth on back cover. Pages lightly tanned. Gift inscription in ink on front free endpaper. Black & white photographs throughout, each with a description. 136 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
