Odense, Denmark : Flensted, 1950. Clean, bright, crisp and tight. Appears unread. Dark blue boards with a white line along the edge, white lettering on the spine and a white flower on the front. Light blue tint to the tiptops of the pages. No date of publication listed but a penciled in date of 1955 on the first page. No volume number listed . The dust jacket has a closed tear at the bottom edge of the front panel that has creased. It is protected by tape on the inside. Tan background with red and blue lettering and a drawing of a young girl with a butterfly on a lilypad. A little shelfwear. The dust jacket is in new mylar. The slipcase is tan with a photo of Hans Christian Anderson on one side. A little scuffing and wear along the edges. A scuffed spot on the top from a sticker. Special Edition published in Andersen's home town by permission of Charles Scribner's Sons.. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good (Slip Case). Illus. by Vilhelm Pedersen . 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
