Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($2.75), toned at the spine and with a tear through Mencken's name, lightly rubbed at the edges. Beige cloth, toned, with blue and red ink lettering on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound with a dark blue top stain, toned at the endpapers, clean otherwise. Mencken's memoir of his childhood growing up in Baltimore.
