Residual dust along top edge of text block, faint foxing to rear endpaper, general toning throughout. Solid text block, free of any marks or notable damage. Complete with 14 black and white illustrations and a color frontispiece. In the publisher's first state dust jacket, $2.00 on front flap, toning and soiling to the spine, chipping along top edge, general toning to all covers, a presentable jacket. These Happy Golden Years by Laura Ingalls Wilder, published in 1943, was a 1944 Newbery Honor book. This is the eighth of 9 books in the Little House series.

These Happy Golden Years spans the time period from 1882 to 1885, when Laura marries Almanzo.
