Blank flyleaves; three maps, 10 photos/illustrations, bibliography, index. Condition notes: Binding tight and square, corners sharp, tail spine end rolled; DJ has light edgewear and one quarter inch closed tear on tail front. No notes or highlighting. Slight tan discoloration and wear noted to top corner of textblock, perhaps a bit of coffee, minor but noticeable. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books offers an eclectic selection mostly in the humanities, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Tolkien and Inklings emphasis), and military history (esp American Civil War).

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in a magical, historic farmhouse in piedmont Maryland stuffed with books. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
