Signed and inscribed by Tomie dePaola. First edition hardcover with dust jacket, published by Putnam, 1991. Tomie dePaola's inscription on the title page reads; 'For Carol, Tomie, 1991'. A collection of Christmas stories, poems, and songs from around the world, as told by Jane Yolen, and illustrated by dePaola. 9-1/4" X 10-1/4", 128 pages. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. No tears, no creases, no writing on the jacket. Sturdy illustrated cover boards, the corners are not bumped, no edge wear. This is a reinforced binding edition. There is a former owner's embossed ownership mark on the first flyleaf - a circular impression about 1-1/2" across at the top right corner of the first flyleaf. No further marks or writing besides that embossed mark and the signature. Binding is tight and square. Edges of the text block are clean. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard copy. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
