Sobre este artículo
New York: Scribner, Armstrong & Co., 1877 Rust-colored cloth; gilt spine lettering. Hart, the wife of Rev. Dudley Hart, rector of Stretford, Manchester, was a fairly prolific writer. Like many women writing during the Victorian period, she didn't affix her name to her publications, calling herself "A Clergyman's Wife," "The Author of. . .," etc. This work is in verse, a tale of devoted marital love in the face of tragedy, and dedicated to poet and novelist Menella Smedley (1819-1877). Moderate rubbing to cover extremities. Few tiny inkspots to page 81. Otherwise clean and tight. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
