Sobre este artículo
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling (author of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, etc.) Hardcover First Edition - First Printing - First State Scholastic US 1998. $17.95 cover price. Diamond design dark blue boards with green cloth spine, raised lettering on dust jacket. States "First Edition" on copyright page followed by full printing line beginning with "1" to indicate a first printing. This copy has the following first-state errors: on the page flanking the title page indicating Rowling's previous books, "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone" instead of "Sorcerer's Stone" and on page 332, the last word "ancestor" should be "descendant".
Fine in Fine Dust Jacket. A beautiful near-perfect copy which appears UNREAD. One of the best first printing copies I've seen of this book since its publication now 20 years ago. Boards are clean, corners straight, pages very clean and white. Appears UNREAD. Tiny hint of shelf-wear to the lower spine, which is common and inevitable, and one tiny pinhead size mark on the bottom of the text-block. Really just about as perfect a copy as you could ask for. I've seen some booksellers asking $500 for not-quite perfect copies. Dust jacket is perfect without any imperfections.
NOTE: All modern books with dust jackets come with dust jacket covers.
ALSO: The pictures are of the actual item for sale. (The picture is NOT a stock photo.)
Sinopsis
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the second book in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The story follows Harry Potter, a young wizard attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as he and his friends Ron and Hermione investigate a series of attacks on students by a mysterious monster. Harry discovers the monster is actually a basilisk, a giant serpent that can kill with a single glance. With the help of his friends and new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Gilderoy Lockhart, Harry must enter the Chamber of Secrets to defeat the basilisk and save his schoolmates, including Ron's younger sister Ginny who has been taken hostage by the evil wizard, Tom Riddle.
