Illustrated dustwrapper with white and gray coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Based on true events in Australia's history, this is the story of Harry Walford, who, in 1882, stole 1500 head of cattle and set out to drive them 12,000 miles across the Australian outback. His ally  the prize heard bull of the stolen cattle. His perils  the landscape, no water and legendary At routing and tracker Wooly. Softening of the backstrip edges with rubbing of the book corners. The spine is cocked and previous owners name to the top edge of the free front end paper. Dust marks to the textblock edges. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners with rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels. There is a 3 inch tear to the lower left-hand corner of the front panel which arcs into, and crosses the backstrip with associated creasing. A previous owner has supported the tear with tape to the verso of the dustwrapper, tape still in situ. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [6], 277, [1] pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
