Doylestown, Ohio: Self-published, 1969. Very clean book bound in sturdy red buckram. Only fault is toning to pages. Not seen too often and especially not with lots of extras laid-in as this one has.The book is SIGNED by the author without inscription and dated 1969. She also changed her address from Doylestown, Ohio to Dayton Beach, Florida on the same page in ink. IThere are many handwritten notes with additional information throughout the book, plaus a few changes, but I am not sure whether this was the author's working copy, or it had belonged to another owner. Begins with Andreas Harter, the progenito,r and proceeds to Jacob Harter. There is also an autobiography of Rev. William George Harter 1811-1864. Book measures 8"x11" and has 155 pages including a detailed index. The items laid-in include three newspaper articles about various Harters, a funeral card, and pages containing genealogical information.. SIGNED by Author. Hard Cover. Very Good/No DJ, as Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
