Includes General Index, Indexes of Artists, Printers and Publishers, Places, Subjects and a Chronology. From the library of the late Bernard Rosenthal with his ownership label on bottom corners of pastedowns. Half-title of volume I "Inscribed for Bernard Rosental with pleasure in his knowledge of the books, Ruth Mortimer, June 26, 1981." Also laid in a manuscript letter to Rosenthal from Anrea Boca? In Italian apparently regarding this work and other matters - image included for those who can translate. Furthermore: Laid in, a newsprint obit of Mortimer, two printed stapled sheets of Mortimer's Obituary by Margaret Lane Ford from The Papers of the Bibliographical Society of America; a section from The Papers of the Bibliographical Society of America by Ruth Mortimer on St. Catherine of Siena pps. 11-22 with a section of 8 plates (loose in part) . Laid in at item 200, [Frezzi, Frederigo] is a publication announcement for Frederigo Frezzi, Il Quadriregio published by Roxburghe London. And finally, laid in with vol. II, Is a folding card printed at the Warwick Press, with three sides of manuscript note to Bernard Rosenthal from John Lancaster, Special Collections Curator at Amherst College, dated July 97, thanking him for "good words about Ruth", and regarding a letter to Ken Carpenter from Rosenthal, among other other matters. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 840 pages .
