A true FIRST EDITION, First Printing from 1959, listing to self (& ND #37) in front matter, to self on rear flap, & ND # #36 on back DJ. With the blue tweed cover design, this hardcover book has 20 chapters, 182 pages, flashlight endpapers, & plain frontispiece. Condition is VG+: very clean, binding strong & square, pages slightly off-white. Flaws: old address label inside front cover, slightly cracked front hinge, modest rubbing to extremities & mildly bumped corners. The unclipped DJ (self summary on front flap, self on rear flap, ND #35 on back cover) is only Good: with light rubbing but lots of small chips, bigger missing chips at both ends of spine & corners, light creasing.
