Sobre este artículo

First Edition/First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. An exceptional copy of this classic of Horror fiction, scarce in collectible condition. This copy is in Near Fine condition with clean white pages and a tight binding with bright spine lettering over yellow and blue boards; the book does show some light rubbing and faint age-toning to the board edges, mild spotting to the top stain, and a minor slant to the binding. Housed in a crisp and clean Very Good dust jacket that shows some mild rubbing and creasing to the spine ends, edges, and corners, a slight age-toning to the back panel, and a couple of pieces of tape repair to the verso at the spine head. Overall, a highly presentable and collectible copy; not remaindered, not price-clipped ($3.95 intact), and not ex-library; in a protective Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.

Sinopsis

The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson is widely considered one of the best literary ghost stories published during the twentieth century. The novel has been adapted to film twice — in 1963 and again in 1999 — both times under the title The Haunting . The Gothic tale tells the story of socially repressed Eleanor Vance and three others who head to Hill House to partake in an experiment involving paranormal activities.
