Frontis with tissue guard. Upper text block edge gilt. Author's name not stated on title page. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Ex libris plate to front pastedown. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Frontispiece's tissue guard is heavily foxed. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed. A bit scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Spine is noticeably sunned. Book has a moderate forward lean. Gilt is bright.
