Light brown cloth with gilt-stamped spine title; "H.D." gilt-stamped on front board. Illustrated dust jacket designed by G.G. Laurens. First edition. American poet Hilda Doolittle (1886-1961), known as H.D., moved to London in 1911 and became one of the avant-garde poets known as the Imagists. She was a prolific writer of both poetry and prose throughout her life. This biography includes previously unpublished material by H.D. and previously unpublished letters by Ezra Pound. Book is in Fine Condition. Dust jacket is in Very Good+ Condition: edges rubbed; clean and intact.
