Edition limited to 75 copies, of which this is numbered 36. This is an ultra rare hand-sewn letterpress chapbook (2-page poem by Charles Bukowski), put out in advance of the release of Storm For the Living and the Dead. This was originally published in Big Scream. Cover illustration by Bill Hamper (aka Billy Childish). Closed, this measures 8.5in tall x 5.5in wide. Opens to full 11in wide. This special edition was done with permission of Linda Lee Bukowski and Ecco/HarperCollins. Design and letterpress by Johnny Brewton of the legendary X-Ray Book Company, famous for his gathering and offering of rare and limited pieces of conceptual art. This copy is new and unread. Still in publisher glassine bag, further preserved in an acid-free archival bag with backing board. Gift or collection quality.
