Contains illustrations of people from various times and places in history (Victorian England, medieval Europe, cavemen, etc.) with blank faces covered by a question mark, with the intent of substituting one's personal snapshots of friends in the faces. Fairly racially insensitive sections aside (particularly the cover and title), an unusual and ephemeral piece of Californiana. No copies in OCLC. Wraps. Oblong 8vo. Ring-bound pictorial wraps. Very good with small chips, exterior toning and rubbing. Clean throughout; unpaginated.
